Since Zats asked about the albuterol muse, I went ahead and took a couple of minutes to scan the hand written draft.

Totally raw, unedited, and actually unreviewed by me. Written in the dark at the hospital bed table thingy on September 29, 2007 while Little Sister slept in her orphanarium crib and I waited for her 11pm nebulizer treatment.

If you have not read the previous chapters of Serial Rediscovery yet, I absolutely forbid you to read this part. Posting for those readers who have been waiting almost two years for a final chapter. The rest of you can wait a week or so for the real, finished post. :p

I was thinking, while washing dishes just now, that I failed to mention that Serial Rediscovery is dead. I have been trying to move it forward for about six weeks, and have finally acknowledged that what I want to do is stupid, the plot is inane, if somebody else wrote it I would stop reading after about five paragraphs.

Now see why my Brain has it's own journal.

I'm taking the breast pump apart to wash it, thinking, I've already started this thing. I'm being self-indulgent for latching on to a plot this stupid. Maybe I should write it a different way so that I can finish it somehow. And immediately, my Brian came up with a solution. Just like that. I mean, I think it *will* be a solution. Stupid Brain. Why couldn't you mention this to me, like, eight months ago?! We could have been DONE with this stupid WIP by now.

Um. Did I mentino my gnat-like attention span. I'm sure I did. Let's go back, play in the sink, and think about ARENA for a while, why don't we, stupid Brain? Maybe you'll have a breakthrough on that, too?

*stomps back to the kitchen*

Gentle Readers:

It's been awhile since I posted on this one. You may recall that at the beginning, I warned that this could become one of those WIPs that seemed like a good idea at the time, but then never got finished. Well, as I was last writing this in December 2005 and it is now April 2006... Um. Yeah.

Anyway, I would like to reiterate my Stern Warning™.

I have no clue if I'll ever really finish this, the main problem being that I have no idea how it's going to end, exactly. I'm plotting way over my head with this one. Therefore, there seems to be a reasonably good chance that I will run out of story before the story is over leading to a WIP that dies before it is "finished."

So, if you just can't stand it when an author does that, then you probably should skip right past this entry.

However, if you are willing to put up with me, I can promise serious smut in the chapter that will follow this one (whenever it gets written), and a couple more chapters, at least, after that, probably with lots of torture for the boys and maybe more smut before I’m done.

This is a huge tease.

I really shouldn't start publishing this til I'm sure I can finish it. I know what I want to do. I have ideas to play with. But I have no idea exactly how I will end it, and it may well become one of those annoying WIPs that gets a good roll going and suddenly stops.

So, if you just can't stand it when an author does that, then you probably should not start this.

However, if you are willing to put up with me, I can promise several chapters of my usual standard, including much emotional stress and at least one good solid piece of porn - maybe even a couple of them.

But in good conscience, I just felt the need to warn you what you are getting into.
