I imagine the bugs are at least cousins of the bugs in The Scourge (http://www.gateworld.net/sg1/s9/917.shtml), though I believe those just looked like black beetles, and I wanted the Ori mark to be on mine. If you didn't see the ep, as soon as those bugs got fed meat, then reproduced explosively/magically and they would travel underground and burst out and attack and eat any human they could find. I made my bugs less picky. They just ate everything. But they didn't swim. :)
AG33 thought I should do a graphic of the grafitti'd stele. He thinks "Dead are the Ori" was just about the funniest thing I ever said. *rolls eyes*
